Day at Orchard Road and The Rice Table @International Building

Visited The Rice Table at International Building on a Saturday for Indonesian a-la-carte buffet.  We were early, so the place was rather empty.

The waiter came around serving plain rice, request for as little or as much as desire.
Dishes were served in small portions and kept warm on a metal warmer.

Curry dishes were very mild, not spicy at all.

Pickled cucumber.

Very little belacan in kangkong.

The curry mid wings were DELICIOUS!!

 Sinfully delicious

A group of special diners came in.
They were patients from Tembusu Rehab and Day Care Centre.
Together with them were volunteers, family members and therapist from the rehab centre.

That was perhaps the reason why all the dishes we had wasn't spicy as compared to my last visit.
Even so, we had a hearty meal with such a heart-warming scene.
I had a short conversation with Ms Irene Lee, Occupational Therapist of Tembusu Rehab.
She said it's the patients' day out and that they had visited the museum in the morning and now at The Rice Table for lunch ^.^  Do check out at their web-site http://www.4s.org.sg/

After the lunch, I went to Jcosmeland Carnival at Cineleisure.
Goodie bag consist of lashes, 2 face masks, a hand fan, wet tissue, hair binder and $30 voucher from JRunway.

My stay there was less 5 mins after collecting my goodie bag.
I really would like to stay longer , cos' I had dressed cute for this event.
But seriously nothing caught my eyes.
The event hosts/booth owners were all enjoying themselves, having a good time,
busy with camwhorings.

Left with disappointment and walked out to SCAPE and managed to buy some chio rock accessories.
Also this pair of not so overly cute hello kitty frame @S$5.

That ended my once in a blue moon trip to Orchard Road.
